After 44 years, “Halloween”, the most acclaimed horror franchise in the history of cinema comes to an end when laurie strode faces the incarnation of evil for the last time, Michael Myers, in a confrontation that is expected to be epic and in which only one of them will survive. The film premiered in theaters on October 14.

Jamie Lee Curtis come back for the last time as laurie strodethe first “horror girl” in the role that catapulted her career as an actress.

Curtis has played Laurie for more than four decades, pulling off one of the longest performances in film history.

When the franchise was relaunched in 2018, “Halloween” broke box office records, becoming the highest-grossing opening in its history and setting a new record for the first opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.

Four years after the events of “Halloween Kills” (2021) Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir while trying to get over the death of her daughter.

Michael Myers has not been seen since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s specter to haunt her life for decades, has decided to free herself from fear and anger and embrace the hope of living. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham, is framed for killing a child he cared for, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally face evil once and for all.

The co-stars of “Halloween Ends” return with Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.

The film is directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay by Paul Brad Logan, Chris Bernier, Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.

When does it come to streaming?

Currently in theaters, “Halloween Ends” is also available in Peacock Premium, at no additional cost to subscribers and $4.99 per month if you’re in the US.

About its arrival on streaming, there is still no confirmed information, however, because its predecessor “Halloween kills” is available on HBO Max, it is expected that the same thing can happen with the last film of the trilogy.
