Dreams on Board presents their new single titled “Ambient-On”

After a long season in Taiwan and having released the album ‘Timeless’ (2020) and ‘Taipei Lullaby’ (2021), Peruvian musician and producer Diego Seymour, also known under the name of his electronic project Dreams on Boardis back with a new single titled ‘Ambient-On’.

The song is now available on all digital platforms under the same producer’s record label, Surrounding Label.

“Ambient On is an exercise in re-interpretation. The big city as a context, the city that surrounds me, the information wave (tax). Trends and their questioning. Turn trending around, take it to my field. Reinvention as a premise, transformation and elevation to a spiritual plane. Sound is not an end, it is a means. The composition as protagonist”, expresses the national artist.

As it is remembered, the music of Dreams on Board allows us to recognize relaxing, intelligent and danceable melodies reminiscent of artists such as Bonobo, Tycho and Darius.

His musical journey began at an early age, within a family devoted to music and art. A constant investigator, he steeped himself in technical knowledge that led him to leave Peru for a while. He settled in São Paulo, Brazil for two years, which were key to his formation as a producer and to broaden his personal horizons. “Brazil opened my mind, made me understand music in a different way”express.

In his career, he has worked in important companies in the music, culture and entertainment industry, in his country and abroad. He was a Latin American artist selected to be part of the ‘Imersão Latina’ residency held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

His projects are characterized by the rescue and revaluation of emotional content, promoting listening as a fundamental act. “The balance between ethics and aesthetics is reflected in an honest and relevant musical production”, he adds.
