Aaron Carter also had a twin sister, Angel, who is also devastated by the death of her brother.

In 2019, Nick and Angel Carter filed a restraining order against their brother Aaron, while the behavior of the former child star worried everyone around him. At the time, they said they hoped the singer would get help to get rid of his multiple addictions.

Nothing has yet been confirmed on the causes of the death of Aaron Carter, who had agreed in September to undergo treatment in a rehab center in the hope of recovering custody of his son.

The 34-year-old singer became a father last year. He and his fiancée, Melanie Martin, had lost their parental rights after incidents of domestic violence and drug use. Custody was eventually awarded to the child’s mother.
