The Gran Combo de Puerto Rico will celebrate its 60th anniversary with two concerts in Peru

The Great Combo of Puerto Rico arrives in Peru with its “World Tour 2022” tour to celebrate its 60th anniversary with lovers of good music in two unique presentations: on Saturday, December 10 at Esplanada Olguín in Surco and on Sunday, December 11 at the local Fronteras Unidas of Independence. Tickets are already on sale at Teleticket.

These are two historical and incomparable events, two exclusive nights that will be totally different from those that have been seen in the United States, Colombia and Puerto Rico, where their presentations have marked a full house and as if that were not enough, both shows -which will take place in Lima- will have national and international surprise guests.

The popular “Universidad de la Salsa” is planning a review of indisputable hits such as “Brujería”, “Ojos Chinos”, “I freed myself”, “Trampolin”, “Ámame”, and other musical jewels that have been part of the history of salsa in the world. In addition, unexpected duets that only good salsa lovers will enjoy in both shows.

The Dominican salsero Alex Matos, for example, is already part of the list of confirmed artists for this show. His song “Forget about him” is without a doubt the hit of the moment on national radio and therefore he is preparing a surprise up his sleeve for both shows.

About the Peruvian talent Brunella Torpoco will be part of the celebrations of the “Word Tour 2022” of El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. This is how groups like Camaguey Orchestra, Bembé, Internacional Sabor, Alvaro Rod, Antonio Cartagena, Willie Rivera and other surprises that will be announced.

Beyond being called the “University of Salsa”, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico are the ‘Ambassadors of Puerto Rico around the world’, the orchestra that during these six decades has toured the five continents.
