“The figures of the World Cup”: The art exhibition that brings together the stars of the Qatar 2022 World Cup

The celebrations for the biggest football party can reach all corners of the world, bringing with it various events and activations organized by its biggest fans.

Precisely for this reason, having inaugurated the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Municipality of Miraflores brings an unexpected surprise that inspires art, hand in hand with Deporte Total from El Comercio and Grupo Vallas.

The exhibition entitled “The Figures of the World Cup” was carried out by the duo of Peruvian artists made up of the illustrator Víctor Aguilar Rúa and the graphic designer Christian Marlow, who delight us with an exhibition starring stars from each of the 32 participating countries. in this international event, presenting them in a cartoon format that emulates the collectible figurines from the World Cup albums.

Taking into account all the personal data – weight, height, assets, international team and number of goals – of the representatives of their countries, previously separated by group stage; Both artists make this exhibition a very special formula that helps us to closely follow this World Cup.

With the personal style that characterizes each one, the pieces can be appreciated until November 30 in the vicinity of Kennedy Park, in front of the Municipality of Miraflores.
