Sinfonía por el Perú announces cancellation of its Christmas gala concert

Through a statement, Symphony for Peru reported the cancellation of “Christmas Symphony”, a Christmas concert scheduled for next Saturday, December 17, at the Parque de la Exposición Amphitheater.

The non-profit organization argues that the measure is due to the difficult situation in the country.

“For reasons of force majeure and the convulsed context in which the country finds itself, we regret to inform you that the Christmas Symphony concert, to be held on Saturday, December 17 at the Parque de la Exposición Amphitheater, has been cancelled.”, reads the first lines of the statement.

They also informed that the amount of all tickets purchased to date will be fully refunded. The Joinnus platform will start the process in the next few days.

“From Sinfonía por el Perú, we want to sincerely apologize to each of you for the setbacks and inconvenience that may be caused by the cancellation of this concert and we thank you, in advance, for your understanding, patience and support in this situation. Soon, we will share the 2023 program of our Youth Orchestra and Choir so that they can continue to accompany us with the usual enthusiasm. Thank you very much!”, ends the announcement broadcast on their social networks.
