“2022 was spectacular, get ready for 2023.” In this way, the streaming giant Netflix announced the original films that will be released throughout this year. Among the big bets is the return of Chris Hemsworth for “Rescue Mission 2,” “You” with Eddie Murphy and “Mystery on the Ship 2” starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
Through a video posted on Twitter, Netflix revealed the first images of its new tapes that will be available soon on the digital platform. The first title that will premiere this Friday, January 27 is “You”, a comedy directed by Kenya Barris and starring award-winning actor Eddie Murphy and comedian Jonah Hill.

The story follows Ezra, a young man in search of love. One day he will meet Amira Mohammed (Lauren London) by chance and they will start a relationship. But, the great impediment will be their families and the prejudices that exist. Akbar, the young woman’s father, will make the situation even more complicated.
Next month, the romantic comedy “Tu casa o la mia” will arrive, which is scheduled to launch on Friday, February 10, just in time to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Reese Witherspoon, Ashton Kutcher and Jesse Williams will be the protagonists of this story. Meanwhile, on March 10, “Luther: Night Falls” will be released, the film that will close the five-season series “Luther” that culminated in 2019.
For their part, the duo made up of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston resume their roles as Nick and Audrey Spitz, respectively, for the second installment of “Mystery on Board” that will be available on Netflix from March 31. One of the surprises within the cast is Enrique Arce, the remembered ´Arturito´ in “La Casa de Papel”.
In mid-2023, Netflix will premiere “The mother” (May 12), “Rescue mission 2” with Chris Hemsworth (June 16), “Tyron’s clone” (July 21), “Heart of stone” (August 11) and “Lift” (August 25). Meanwhile, “Damsel” for October 13 and “Pain Hustlers” for October 27 are added to the original premieres.
The streaming giant will close the year with “The killer” on November 10, “A family affair” on November 17, the animated film “Leo” on November 22, “Leave the world behind” for December 8 and , finally, “Rebel moon” on December 22.
