Doja Cat surprises with a curious red look full of Swarovski crystals in the Schiaparelli show

A rather risky look. She has started Fashion Week in Paris and some looks have already been seen that have left the attendees of the gala with their mouths open. One of the most striking brands has been Schiaparelli, to which some influencers and models such as Irina Shaik either Kylie Jenner.

The theme of the show was Inferno Couture and it was inspired by the idea of Dante’s hell and the guest who took it 100% seriously was the singer and rapper Doja Cat, who wore an incredible red dress, her entire body painted in this color and more than 30,000 Swarovski crystals embedded all over its skin. Would it have been uncomfortable?

The dress consisted of a strapless corset and a tulle skirt. This was accompanied by high boots and large earrings.

After the Italian fashion house Schiaparelli became a Haute Couture firm in 2017, over the following years it has managed to establish itself as one of the most creative and exquisite luxury brands in the world of fashion. So daring and avant-garde that for Haute Couture Week in Paris she did not hesitate to throw the house out of the window with her controversial theme: Dante Alighieri’s hell in the “Divine Comedy”.

HOW LONG DID THIS CHARACTERIZATION TAKE?

This dress has received the name of Doja’s Inferno and is a collaboration between designer Daniel Roseberry and makeup artist McGrath. She herself has shared a text on Instagram and has revealed that they have spent almost five hours for the makeup and the placement of the crystals.

“It has been an honor to collaborate with the incredibly talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry on the ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look for Schiaparelli’s FW23 Haute Couture collection. Doja’s patience and commitment in the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took her to create the look with #TeamPatMcGrath and myself, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, was truly inspiring. The final product was a magical and mesmerizing masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat’s hard work and dedication.” has explained.

A video has also been broadcast on networks in which you can see the entire process to make up the singer: from a false bald head to the paint and all the crystals. Look it here:
