The Spanish singer Guitarricadelafuente will arrive in Lima to give a concert as part of his La Cantera tour. The artist, who has already performed at the lollapalooza Argentina and at Vive Latino in Mexico, he has gained relevance on the Latin American scene thanks to his first self-titled album, which has positioned him as one of the promising talents of the Spanish music scene.
The essence of this first album is based on the acoustic guitar, which gives his music a seductive dimension. His first tour, La Girica, started in 2019 and continued in 2020, sold out most of the tickets in many cities and festivals in Spain. In 2020, he was nominated in three categories of the MIN Independent Music Awards. Best Emerging Artist, Best Song of the Year for “Agua y Mezcal” and Best Videoclip for “Guantanamera”.
“La Cantera” includes songs like “A Thousand and One Nights”, “Vidalita del Mar” and “Quién encendido la luz”, themes that he completed with “A carta cabal”. His new single, which was released the same day as the album, is an enigmatic song that “represents the relay of youth in each generation, like a spark that you have always carried inside and ignites to stay alive, like a story about boys who embrace their origin and are proud of it”, comments the singer-songwriter.
Guitarricadelafuente will perform next Friday, March 24 at the Barranco CCB in its first concert with its Peruvian fans. Tickets are available through join us.
