“Chupa”: Netflix reveals the trailer for its movie inspired by ‘El chupacabras’

“Chupa”, directed by filmmaker Jonás Cuarón and inspired by the Mexican legend of ‘El chupacabras’, is the new project by Netflix, which revealed the official trailer starring Evan Whitten. The film will be added to the catalog in April of this year.

In the two-minute clip, the actor Whitten can be seen in the role of Alex, a boy who, during a vacation in San Javier (Mexico), befriends a fantastic creature: the chupacabra. Despite expectations, the family protects the animal from danger. “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you,” Alex assures him.

But, faced with the imminent danger they are running, Alex and his cousins ​​decide to run away with the chupacabra. “We have to get him out of here,” they say before stealing the car and leaving for an unknown destination. “Your family is somewhere.
