“How trees grow”: the work that analyzes the deepest fears will be presented at the New Juliet Theater

The production “How trees grow” by playwright Eduardo Adrianzén and directed by Rodrigo Falla Brousset is presented for a brief season at the New Juliet Theater. The play stars Renato Piaggio, accompanied by a cast made up of Flor Castillo, Ebelin Ortiz, Gustavo Mayer, Luis Baca and Tania López.

What is How Trees Grow about?

The story tells us about Dante, a young gastronomy student. In his life, the ingredients seem to be just right and his mother is proud of it.

However, the appearance of a man who claims to be her father seems to salt everything: he is a former military man, a fugitive from justice, wanted for destroying an entire Ayacucho peasant community in 1991.

The staging is by Kapchiy, a theater producer with more than 30 shows on the billboard in Lima for three years now.

For its director, Rodrigo Falla Brousset, the staging means “an approach to the analysis of human behavior, from our deepest fears that build defense mechanisms for us to what many people lack today: empathy.”

The performance will be presented for a short season at the Nuevo Teatro Julieta, from April 13 to 30, at 8:00 pm The performances go from Thursday to Sunday at 8:00 pm. Tickets are already on pre-sale on the Joinnus platform.

The work lasts 90 minutes and with pre-sale prices ranging from 15 soles to 40 soles.
