Wizard of Oz: their vocalist Zeta leaves the band due to health problems

Wizard of Oz change vocalist again after 10 years the departure of José José Andrëa. Through his social networks, Javier Domínguez Gregorio, better known as Zeta, announced his decision to leave the Spanish band due to health problems that prevent him from continuing with the scheduled concerts.

In the statement, the singer thanked his public and that they have given him the opportunity to integrate Wizard of Oz. It should be remembered that Domínguez entered 2012 after the departure of Jose Andreaformer vocalist of the group.

“I have realized that I should not face a new tour with Mägo de Oz and I honestly do not want to harm my colleagues by extending my decision any longer. I could not have had better luck than to enter 2012 as the vocalist of the biggest and most famous group in the country, which has allowed me to live experiences that I never dreamed of having ”, wrote Zeta.

“Who has not dreamed of singing for tens of thousands of people? With traveling halfway around the world for months? They are experiences that are impossible to forget, but, as I tell you, I think the time has come to change my mind and open new paths in my life as a musician and singer: maybe explore other styles, maybe make my own music”, added.

when he said goodbye, Zeta he left open the possibility of returning to Wizard of Oz in the future.

“We do not rule out the possibility of being together again on stage in the future, even if it is to remind me that the yellow brick road will continue to be there, and that it will always be a magical place for me”, commented.

“I wish you as much or more success as the one you have achieved up to today and I hope that you, those who have listened to us during this last decade, continue to support your/my beloved Wizard of Oz group with your imposing presence and the loudest shouts you can give. ”, added.
