The organization of the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) announced this Tuesday that Anuel AA, Bad Gyal, Eden Muñoz, Guaynaa, Lele Pons, Myke Towers and Prince Royce will be among the artists who will perform at the awards ceremony on April 20 in Las Vegas.

He also reported that during the gala, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión, bachata idol Prince Royce will receive the special Pioneer Award and will offer a preview of one of the songs that will release this year.

The nine-time winner of the Latin AMAs and 3-time nominee in this edition will also delight his followers with songs from his repertoire accompanied by great artists, said a statement from the organization.

The complete list of artists who will entertain the awards ceremony, presented by Galilea Montijo, Julián Gil and Natti Natasha, will be revealed as the event in Las Vegas approaches. This will be the first time that the Spanish Bad Gyal and the Mexican Eden Muñoz will perform on the stage of the Latin AMAs.

The other artists announced today have already performed in previous editions, such as Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA, considered one of the pioneers of Latin trap. Annual AA, who already has six Latin AMAs and this time is nominated for Best Urban Artist, will take the stage to perform his latest hit, “Más rica que ayer”.

In his first appearance at these awards, popular Catalan star Bad Gyal will present his latest single, “Chulo,” while award-winning artist Eden Muñoz, one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in the regional Mexican genre today, will perform “Chale.” Muñoz is nominated in 4 categories, including new artist of the year.

Newly married couple Guaynaa, a Puerto Rican, and Lele Pons, a Venezuelan-American, will come together to wow the audience with a very special performance including their latest collaboration, “Abajito,” from their upcoming album, “Capitulations.”

Puerto Rican artist Myke Towers, who won Favorite Song at the Latin AMAs last year for “Couple of the Year” with Sebastián Yatra, will provide a performance of “Mi Droga” from his recent album “La Vida es Una”.

Nominations for these awards are based on airplay, sales, radio airplay, touring, and even social media interaction data provided by Billboard and Luminate.

This year’s nominations highlight artists spanning all genres of Latin music within 26 categories, including 9 general categories, 5 regional Mexican, and 4 categories focused on pop, urban, and tropical.
