Who is the young Peruvian who triumphs on Broadway and who is already being compared to Juan Diego Flórez?

“When I was a child, I stood out in school artistic presentations, however, what I was most passionate about was sport, soccer. He always played, but he knew that he couldn’t be a professional footballer. Nothing excited me. When I got to the third year of high school, I got frustrated, I didn’t know what to study. After studying acting for four years at the Florida School of the Arts, the young talent continued to grow artistically at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

“At school in Florida I started writing and producing my own work. I graduated in May 2022, then moved to North Carolina, where I did an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. It is called “Romeo and Juliet Limeño”. It is the story of two Peruvian families who have restaurants and compete. One is very traditional, and the other is fusion cuisine.
