Ann-Margret released her new rock album at the age of 81

The actress, who was nicknamed “the female Elvis Presley” in her day, is releasing her new album on compact disc and vinyl. In this last format, she also puts out three songs for sale: Born To Be Wild, Rockin ‘Around the Christmas Tree and Splich Splash.

The Cleopatra record company presents her as one of the brightest stars in Hollywood, of which she also highlighted her work with Elvis Presley in Viva Las Vegas, the musical film Bye Bye Birdie, in which she starred in 1963.

The New York Times newspaper dedicates a special to her in which it highlights that “at 81 years old, Ann-Margret is finally living her Rock and Roll dream.”
