“Peace Out”: The tour with which Aerosmith says goodbye to the stage

The classic rock band formed by Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (lead guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) will offer 40 concerts from September 12 in Philadelphia (USA) to 26 January 2024 in Montreal (Canada).

Aerosmith will be accompanied by The Black Crowes, who will act as the opening act on this tour that will include cities like Boston, New York, San Francisco and Seattle, among others.

“It’s kind of an opportunity to celebrate 50 years that we’ve been here. You never know how much longer everyone is going to be healthy to do this.”, Perry told Fox News about the members of the group, all of whom are over 70 years of age.

The band, founded in Boston in 1970, announced in a statement that Kramer will not participate in the tour because he is focused on caring for his family and his health.

The group has not released a new album since the 2012 release of “Another Dimension!”, the fifteenth album of their career.

In May 2022, Aerosmith canceled part of their Las Vegas residency due to Tyler’s relapse into his drug addiction.

In addition, the vocalist was indirectly implicated in December in a sexual assault lawsuit, the result of an alleged relationship he had with a minor in the 1970s. The complaint did not explicitly mention his name, but, according to the magazine rolling stonesthe plaintiff has made her experience with Tyler public in the past.
