Carlos Vives announces tour “El tour de los 30” in the US

Colombian singer-songwriter Carlos Vives announced this Wednesday “El tour de los 30”, a US tour that will highlight his roots and the milestones that have made him a global ambassador of Colombian folklore for more than three decades, the organization said in a statement.

The tour, which includes nine concerts, begins on August 19 at Radio City Music Hall, in New York, and ends on November 5 at the Microsoft Theater, in Los Angeles. Other dates are in October: Chicago on the 19th, Boston on the 21st, Washington on the 22nd, Miami on the 28th and Orlando on the 29th. In addition, on November 2 he will be in Dallas, and the next day in Houston.

Following the release of his album “Escalona: Nunca había se recordado así”, the pre-sale of the tour tickets, produced by Loud And Live, begins this Thursday and general sales on Friday.

The tour occurs after the “Después de Todo Vives Tour”, a tour that took the Colombian’s music to several cities in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico in 2022, recalled Nelson Albareda, the president and CEO of Loud And Live.

“This year, we are extremely proud to be part of the celebration of Vives’ 30-year career and to be able to connect him again with his audience on this tour,” Albareda stressed.

With the release of the new album and this tour, Carlos Vives begins an emotional year full of celebrations and festivities that will evoke nostalgia, but that will also exalt the achievements and the path traveled during these 30 years by the greatest figure of Colombian music, the organization specified in a statement.
