british actor Tom Holland stars in and produces the new dramatic series “The Crowded Room”, a psychological thriller created by the American Akiva Goldsman, which will premiere worldwide next Friday, June 9 in AppleTV+.
The 10-episode series tells a suspenseful story set in New York in the summer of 1979, with American actresses Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum in the cast.

The plot begins with the arrest of young Danny Sullivan (Holland), accused of a shocking crime, whose investigation falls into the hands of investigator Rya Goodwin (Seyfried).
The series recounts the life of the protagonist and the moments that have marked his mysterious past through various interviews.
The first official trailer for the series, released this Wednesday, shows defining moments from the main character’s past and a particular night that changed his life; his arrest, secret drawings of him ending up in a fireplace, and how a burly man prevents a group of young men from beating him up.

All these images are the prelude to a childhood memory that the protagonist tries to decipher.
“The Crowded Room” is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency, in which the Hungarian Kornel Mundruczo directs several episodes and is also an executive producer.
