Juanes, who also lives in this sector, has decided to open the doors of his home for other reasons.

Since May 19, “Daily Life” has been available on digital platforms, the album that he considers the best of his career and in which he has allowed himself to show a photograph of his privacy through 11 songs in which he recounts experiences with his wife. and children, but also in which he gives his point of view on the dramas that his country and his city have gone through in recent years. Being his most personal album and the one that he believes he would like to leave as a legacy if he no longer had time to make music, Juanes dedicated an entire week to activities with his house as a stage.

Accompanied by his wife and daughter Paloma, the artist received “El Comercio” in one of those activities in which he made a private screening of the 5 videos with which he will promote this album. 5 videos that he also decided to make with 100% talent from Antioquia. The videographer María Camila Calle has been behind all these clips that show the different emotions that the artist wanted to express on his album and that are, above all, a tribute to his land.

The interior of Juanes’ house also demonstrates his curiosity for the talent born in his country. Its library is full of titles with the works of Colombian architects, painters and sculptors such as Hugo Zapata, Luis Restrepo, Alejandro Obregón and Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, there is also the guide “Secret Colombia”, by the ecologist Andrés Hurtado García and an edition of “Vidas minadas”, the work of photographer Gervasio Sánchez who recorded the drama of antipersonnel mines in countries such as Colombia, Afghanistan, Cambodia and El Salvador.

The architecture of his house, in addition, is designed for direct contact with the natural landscape that Antioquia offers. Juanes’ room has a huge screen that, when opened, lets in pure mountain air and allows a view of a lot of nature, ideal for practicing yoga with his wife, the actress Karen Martínez.

On the two levels that his home has, there are many details of painting and ceramics, a painting has the face of the artist carved in wood. And, in addition, there are many elements of cycling, an activity that has become a great passion for Juanes, who usually takes the right lane of Vía Don Diego, as do dozens of professional cyclists who practice in this area, to start his day. at 5 in the morning.
