After the success of the saga “Batman: The Dark Knight” with Christian Bale, the filmmaker Christopher Nolan was applauded for the feature film that showed the famous superhero. Now, years later, the director -along with Robert Downey Jr- sat down to talk at a meeting organized by Wired for the premiere of “Oppenheimer”.

During a round of questions, the question arose as to how the Marvel Studios movie “Avengers” would have been filmed if Nolan had been the director in charge of the project. He is known for not using computer generated images (or Computer-Generated Imagery ‘CGI’ in English).

Therefore, and according to the filmmaker himself, he would not have used CGI in “Avengers” either. The question was for Robert Downey Jr., who was asked by Christopher Nolan if he would have been willing to get on one of the ‘jetpacks’ for real to play Tony Stark ‘Iron Man’ in fiction.

“Having worked with you on ‘Oppenheimer,’ there would probably be too much Tony Stark. You would be staying a bit with the film (…) Would you be prepared to get on one of those ‘jetpacks’, the ones they really do?”Nolan asked. “If Christopher Nolan had directed ‘Avengers,’ we would still be filming”said Downey Jr.

The film starring Cillian Murphy will be released exclusively in theaters around the world. Subsequently, the film directed by Christopher Nolan is expected to reach a streaming platform; however, Universal Pictures has not provided further details in this regard.. Information is expected in the coming weeks.

The feature film “Oppenheimer” will be a biopic that will show the life of the American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy), who played an essential role in the development of the atomic bomb when he was in charge of the Los Alamos Laboratory, becoming an important character during World War II.
