Café Tacvba announced a tour of various cities in the United States

the mexican group Cafe Tacvba will begin in Miami on October 14 a tour of the United States that will include stops in eight cities, according to what the producer of the Live Nation tour reported on Monday.

The emblematic rock group will tour the United States until December 1, when their tour concludes with a concert in Porterville, California.

One of the most recognized Latin rock bands, Café Tacvba “has been at the forefront of the alternative revolution, leading the Latin American vanguard for the last 30 years,” as Live Nation highlighted.

“Blending sounds as dispersed as punk, Latin American folklore, electronica and pop, the band has found a large audience around the world”added the firm in a statement, in which it highlighted the awards that the group has received during its career, including Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.

The tour, whose tickets will go on sale starting this Friday, will include concerts in the cities of Orlando (Florida), Atlanta (Georgia), Nashville (Tennessee), Charlotte and Raleigh (both in North Carolina), and in Californian Wheatland.

The group has released eight studio albums during their career, including “Re” (1994), which critics came to consider as “the white album of Latin rock”, alluding to the famous album by The Beatles, as well as “Cuatro Caminos” (2003), which included the hit “Eres”.
