“Los Prisioneros”, a Peruvian-Chilean series, will premiere at Iberseries in Madrid

This Monday, September 27, the first edition of Iberseries Platinum Industry (IPI), the international event that seeks to become a benchmark for professionals linked to the Ibero-American audiovisual industry. From today until October 1, in Madrid, there will be conferences designed to establish cultural and economic links that promote the present and draw the future of the Ibero-American audiovisual sector, but also exclusive screenings of the first chapters of some of the most anticipated series made in the region.

BÚNKER (Mexico)

Bunker is an original HBO Max production made in Mexico that will premiere on the platform. Made up of a first-rate cast headed by Bruno Bichir, Miguel Rodarte, Ricardo Polanco, Liz Gallardo, Adrián Vázquez, Claudette Maille, Giselle Kuri, Víctor Oliveira and Jesús Zavala, Bunker is an action comedy, produced by WarnerMedia Latin America in conjunction with Dopamine and directed by Joe Rendón. The series focuses on Vladimiro, a middle-aged man who has lost the respect of his wife and children and who only finds peace in an old bunker in the basement of his home, where he lives unexpected circumstances and entanglements, full of action and fun.

UNLIMITED CODE (Mexico)

Relentless code, a production of Sony Pictures Television Latin America, Claro Video and The Mediapro Studio, brings together four investigators from different generations and backgrounds to arrest a rapist who has been evading the law for 35 years. Marcela, struggling to earn the respect of her peers, a retiree in need of redemption, an undercover agent and a former commissioner seeking revenge, manage to catch the criminal, but this does not close the case. This is the premise of the series, directed by Joel Novoa and starring Paulina Gaitán, Pascacio López, Ana Layevska, Guillermo Quintanilla and Marimar Vega. DROUGHT (Spain and Portugal)

Drought is a co-production of RTVE and the Portuguese public radio television RTP in collaboration with the production companies Atlantia Media and Coral Europa. It tells the story of two families separated by the border between Spain and Portugal whose lives cross again after the years. The appearance of two corpses in the old houses of Campomediano, a town that emerges from the waters at the bottom of a swamp because of the drought, is the starting point of this thriller with ingredients of love, ambition, betrayal, greed and an unsolved crime.
