“Havana Fénix” arrives in Lima from Cuba and will be presented at the Gran Teatro Nacional

The artistic show “Havana Fénix” will arrive in Peru along with “Cuba Vibra” this November 11 and 12 at the Gran Teatro Nacional in Lima. Tickets for the show performed by Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba are on sale at Teleticket.

It should be noted that the D1 company, led by the Peruvian dancer Vania Masías, shares the stage with the Cuban cast, integrating Peruvian and Cuban culture.

He Show promises to make the audience vibrate to the rhythm of Afro-Cuban sounds, ballet and bolero. “Havana Phoenix”, andIt’s a piece created by dance teacher, Lizt Alfonso, who is inspired by Havana and pays tribute to the city’s historian, Eusebio Leal (1942-2020).

The work is made up of expert dancers from the company, who will take the public on a tour of the island from its beginnings. They will become restaurateurs who seek to build the historic center of Havana, transmitting a message of resurgence, optimism and faith, as they continue to narrate the different moments of national history through their synchronized choreographies.

The soundtrack that accompanies each movement of the dancers will be provided by musicians such as Amadeo Roldán, Sindo Garay, Gerardo Alfonso, Guido López, Lucía Huergo, Roberto Valera and Edesio Alejandro.

For its part, Cuba Vibra takes a tour of the dances and music that made the Island famous in the 50s of the last century until today. To the rhythm of cha-cha, mambo, conga and feeling, the characters will make the spectators accomplices to tell their story in the unique style of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba.
