Joey Montana will release a song together with Christian Yaipén from Grupo 5

Panamanian singer Joey Montana, known for his musical hits such as “La melody”, “Picky” and “Suena el dembow”, revealed that he will release a new musical song in collaboration with Christian Yaipén from Grupo 5.

Although Montana did not comment on the name of the song or the theme, the performer said that it would be a cumbia, since his desire is to learn new musical genres.

“Christian (Jaipen) He’s kind of paranoid about not revealing the name of the song, but it’s coming out this month. We also made the video and the song is brutal. “It’s full cumbia, I told him that I didn’t want it to sound urban, I wanted to adjust to what he did,” explained the Panamanian musician in an interview with the newspaper Correo.

Joey Montana and Christian Yaipén were judges in the singing contest The voice Kids, in 2021. It was in that season when they recorded the new musical theme that they will present this month.

“It’s a song I made on those weekends when there was no program. “Actually, we have two cumbias made, but we only chose the one we will release,” he added.

Joey Montana, on the other hand, was encouraged to share his opinion about the youngest of the Yaipén. He said they have a great friendship that was born from his work in the reality from Latina TV and highlighted his humility.
