Olivia Rodrigo announced her new world tour: Has she confirmed shows in Latin America?

American singer Olivia Rodrigo This Wednesday she announced the first dates of her second world tour for 2024, which will take her to Spain but still does not have dates in Latin America.

Rodrigo, 20, will begin the “Guts” tour on February 24 in Palm Springs, California (USA), then passing through other American cities such as Miami, New York and Dallas, as well as Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto, in Canada.

The “Vampire” singer will also have two performances in Spain, one in Barcelona on June 18 and another in Madrid on the 20th of the same month, and will offer four dates in London, five in various cities in Germany and others in France, Italy and Portugal.

So far the announcement does not include concerts in Latin America, but the singer assured in an Instagram post that more dates will be announced “soon.”

Released last Friday, “Guts” is the second studio album by the singer who burst onto the music scene in 2021 when she was barely 18 years old.

As detailed by the artist, the 12-track album is the result of a wealth of experiences derived from the overwhelming fame she experienced in the last two years, after the success of her album “Sour”, which was considered the best album of 2021 for specialized media such as Rolling Stone.

After singles like “Good 4 U” and “Déja Vu” went viral on social networks, Rodrigo also positioned herself at that time as the most listened to artist in the English-speaking world.

In 2022, the young woman obtained seven nominations for the Grammy Awards, including the four main categories with which she established herself as one of the new promises of American pop and began an international tour in which she visited more than 40 cities in North America and Europe.
