Juanes celebrated his concert in Bogotá in style: “There is a magic that I cannot explain”

The Colombian singer Juanes This Sunday he appreciated his presentation at the Cordillera Festival in Bogotá, where they gave him an “opportunity” to show his music that he found “incredible” and he sang songs like “A dios le pido”, “La camisa negra” or “Volverte a ver ”.

“It means a lot to play at Cordillera, they gave me the opportunity and I thought it was incredible”he expressed in a press conference after the concert.

Juanes, who was born in Medellín, highlighted the love that Bogotá gave him throughout his concert saying that “There is a magic and something that I cannot explain.”

Internationally recognized songs such as “La camisa negra”, “Es por ti”, “Volverte a ver” or “A dios le pido” were some of the hits that made an audience that completely filled the Cordillera stage vibrate.

“We are very happy with the response of the people, people were singing all my songs and that is very important for me”said the 51-year-old singer.

“Being able to see that so many years have passed and that people continue singing my songs makes me a little angry, but it is also exciting”Juanes expressed with some irony, valuing the public that did not stop encouraging the Colombian.

The artist also valued the level of the event, arguing that it is “at the level of any festival in the world” because there has been a diversity of singers “that is needed” in the world of music.

He especially valued the Colombian singers who are starting their careers and in whom he has been reflected during this weekend since “they inspire me because I was also reflected there.”

Finally, Juanes explained that he would like his fans to remember him for his music, and that people “can’t imagine, but I wake up wanting to make music, the days I don’t make I feel bad and I’m obsessed with it.” ”.

Thus, with one of the leading Colombian artists on the international scene, the second edition of the Cordillera Festival in Bogotá ended, which also included the participation of Andrés Calamaro and Cafe Tacvuba.
