Gian Piero Díaz returns to theater performance after ten years with “Lovers”

The popular television host, Gian Piero Diaz, announced his return to the theater after a decade of absence. The actor will participate in the play “Lovers”, an interactive comedy that will premiere on October 17 at the Teatro NOS in San Isidro.

Díaz, who is known for his participation in programs as This is war and Combat, said that acting has always been his passion, but that he decided to move away from it because it took a lot of time. However, she accepted the proposal of her partner and director of the play, Gino Tassara, to participate in a short season.

“It’s what I needed to get hooked on acting again, which is what I like and am passionate about”Diaz said. “Getting into a series or a novel is going to be impossible for me because I wouldn’t have time for my family or other things,” he added.

The actor will play an “idiot” character, as he himself described it. In addition, he was enthusiastic about meeting the audience again and having contact with them in this interactive theatrical performance.

“It’s going to be nice, plus we play with the public. “We talked a lot with them, there is also a matter of experience with the public,” Diaz indicated. “They are the different ways of falling in love and falling out of love, in a time where everything is like and heart. “We want to understand a little bit where the relationships are going,” he added.

“Lovers” is a work that addresses the different stages of love, from the first kiss to heartbreak. The work will feature the participation of Rossana Fernández Maldonado, Alexandra Graña and Gonzalo Revoredo. Tickets are available at Teleticket.
