Coldplay and BTS released the video for “My Universe” and already exceed 11 million views on YouTube

BTS and British rock band Coldplay They surprised their thousands of followers this Thursday with the official launch of their video clip for “My Universe”, just six days after the release of the collaborative single.

After 11 hours of being released on YouTube, the video clip has more than 11 million views. Also, a little more than 950,000 people saw the premiere of the video clip in a live broadcast through the Coldplay channel on YouTube.

The music video was directed by Dave Meyers and is set on a stage in space. “In an age when music is banned in all space, three bands on three different planets meet via hologram to play music against the veto”, it is read in the introduction of the film.

The images that appeared after the introduction are similar to scenes from a science fiction movie, with aliens and robots alongside members of both groups.

This collaboration between the South Korean boyband and the British band Coldplay has been the most anticipated by ARMY so far this year, after the concerts scheduled in the United States, specifically at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, United States, during the days November 27 and 28, and December 1 and 2, according to the Big Hit Music statement.
