Singer Leslie Shaw will premiere a new musical theme together with the Peruvian cumbia group Hermanos Yaipén. The theme song is called “Fin de Semana”, a song dedicated to fun that mixes urban and tropical rhythms.
Jonathan Rojas is in charge of placing his voice in the new song and together with Shaw they hope that the song will be one of the most listened to by the public.
Leslie Shaw’s new song will be released on October 25 on the artist’s and the group’s music platforms. “Weekend / today I don’t want to know anything / I just want to live the rumba / dancing until the morning,” says the chorus of the theme song, the same one that Leslie shared on her social networks as a preview.
“This October 25, the real movie comes out with the Yaipén Brothers. Ahh, how exciting! They are ready?”, Shaw wrote on his social networks with a promotional video for his song.
The singer was invited to the “Rolling Stone” magazine awards, which rewards the Latin training industry. After completing that ceremony, she returns to Lima next weekend to perform in various regions of Peru.
Leslie Shaw lives in Miami, United States, from there she manages her musical career and is now committed to promoting music made in Peru, because she believes in the national industry.
On the other hand, Shaw commented that she prefers to work her career with her compatriots, from making video clips to costume design, the performer always works with other Peruvians.
The launch of the video clip for “Fin de Semana” and its playback for all platforms will be on Wednesday, October 25.
