Green Day announced their new album “Saviors” that will be released in 2024

American rock band green Day announced the release date of his new musical album called “Saviors”, which will be released on January 19, 2024.

Through their Instagram account, the group commented that “Saviors” is an album that invites listeners to understand the friendship, culture and essence of Green Day over the last 30 years.

“It’s raw and emotional. Fun and disturbing. It’s a laugh out of pain, cry in happiness kind of record.”the band wrote.

On the other hand, the group commented that “Saviors” deals with topics such as war, inequality, mental health, among others. “Illness, war, inequality, influencers, yoga retreats, alt-right, dating apps, masks, MENTAL HEALTH, climate change, oligarchs, social media division, free weed, fentanyl, fragility”they specified.

It should be noted that Green Day has already premiered a song from their new album, it is “The American Dream Is Killing Me” during a presentation at a Las Vegas nightclub.

“As soon as we finished it, we said, ‘Okay, that one goes first.’”commented the band’s vocalist, Billie Joe Armstrong, who describes the song as “a look at the way the traditional American dream doesn’t work for many people and is hurting many.”

Green Day fans won’t have to wait until January to hear more of the album, as the band has teased that they will release more music on November 2.
