Danza Lima announces the only six performances of “The Shape of Discord”

Danza Lima announced the presentation of the contemporary dance work “The Shape of Discord,” a show under the artistic direction of Maureen Llewellyn-Jones, which will take place from Friday to Sunday, from November 17 to November 26 in the auditorium of the ICPNA Cultural CenterLima Center.

“The Shape of Discord” was created within the framework of the thirty-fifth edition of the ICPNA New Dance Festival, where it had great success on stage.

Danza Lima will present a work inspired by the Greek myth of the apple of discord to explore, honestly and with humor, archetypal themes related to the condition of the human being, discord and love.

The contemporary dance show is performed by Maureen Llewellyn-Jones, Karine Aguirre-Morales and Ximena Larco, directed by Maureen Llewellyn-Jones in dialogue with the plastic arts of Hosefa Tavolara, the text and voice of Patricia del Río, the music of Miguel Flores and the audiovisual art of Carlos Paz.

The Form of Discord will be presented in 6 unique performances, on Friday, November 17 and 24 at 8 pm, Saturday, November 18 and 25, and Sunday, November 19 and 26 at 6 pm at the ICPNA Lima Centro, Cercado de Lima. Tickets are on sale for S/40 general and S/20 for students and seniors through the Joinnus platform.
