“Isla Bonita”, the film that pays tribute to the Peruvian jungle: When will it be released?

Filmmaker Ani Alva Helfer announced the premiere of her film “Beautiful island”, which tells the story of three friends who live intense and fun adventures in the Peruvian jungle. It will be screened in theaters in Peru starting November 30.

Alva Helfer commented that through his film they try to pay tribute to the Peruvian Amazon, validating the talent of its people and the beauty of the landscapes of that region of the country, as well as the decentralization of the film industry.

“We seek to celebrate the Peruvian jungle, its spectacular settings, but also validate the talent of its people, in this film many actors are natives of the place, we held a casting where seven thousand people came, never seen before!said the creator.

The film stars actresses Emilia Drago, Saskia Bernaola and Patricia Barreto, who will play Andrea, Roxana and Esperanza. In that sense, Drago was impressed with the acting talent of the locals. “It has been wonderful, an honor to share with them,” she said.

For her part, Bernaola, who was recently eliminated from “The Great Chef: Famous,” indicated that “Isla Bonita” is a film that exposes the wonders of Iquitos. “I love being part of this cinematographic proposal that connects us with what is ours”he added.

The actresses revealed that they had an experience that involved them in different adventures. “We have lived organically, […] I had to do things that I had never done before, so there wasn’t much acting, but, on the contrary, it felt real, it was the best!”commented Patricia Barreto.
