The Peruvian actor Christian Meier spoke about the death of his friend, the singer-songwriter Pedro Suárez-Vértizwho lost his life on the morning of Thursday, December 28 at the age of 54.
Using his social networks, the singer, also a singer, told a motivating anecdote that he experienced together with the “Cuéntame” interpreter while they lived in Miami (United States) and had little money.
“We had lived together in a small apartment in Miami. We no longer had money, we slept on the floor and only ate ‘panettone fried in a pan’”he related.
Afterwards, Meier added that they spent more time cleaning their home than digesting food, which, due to lack of money, was usually in short supply. After that, the actor said that PSV gave him a life lesson when they swept the floor.
“Pedro uttered a phrase that became – since then – the paradigm with which I would make all my decisions for the rest of my life: “better than cleaning is not making a mess.” wrote the soap opera heartthrob.
Finally, Christian reflected that Pedro Suárez-Vértiz moved thousands of people with his compositions, so he said goodbye thanking him for everything he did for him.
“Pedro went from that to touching the hearts of millions. I had the pride of seeing him and the fortune of sharing many moments with him, many trips and concerts… many songs. You will be eternal Peter. Thanks for everything”, he commented.
