Alejandro Sanz publishes “Bio”, a vital inventory in the form of a recited song

Alejandro Sanz published this Tuesday “Bio”, an introspective song in which the musician recites a handful of vital confessions that begin in his childhood: “I was always introverted / I was scared, I was gone / I liked poetry, flamenco and my bujío”, he relates in this song in which he only starts singing in the final stanza.

Dressed with piano, strings and acoustic guitars, this recited song serves as a preview of his next album, which will be composed of ten new songs produced by Alfonso Pérez with Sanz himself and Javier Limón, plus the mixing work signed by Peter Walsh, according to a statement from Universal Music.

“He could put on the automatic pilot or abandon himself to the inertia of the prestige harvested during three decades of uninterrupted conquest, but he prefers to articulate a surprising exercise in expressive freedom driven by the word and that converge in a final stanza alien to double readings. What you hear is what you get. Neither cheat nor cardboard ”, affirms the note.

“I knew that music was / What would get me out of the mud”, assures the Madrilenian in “Bío”. “And suddenly I saw myself getting on stage / People I did not know, my little songs singing / And I decided to give thanks, always do what is in my power / To thank life for such a gift”, Add.

Recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Alejandro Sanz returns to the stage on October 8. It is the start date of a tour that will take you to 12 cities in the United States throughout the month.
