“Survivors: After the Earthquake,” a film made by the producers of “The Squid Game,” arrives in Peru

The new phenomenon of Korean cinema “Survivors: After the Earthquake” arrives in all Peruvian cinemas on January 25.

The film is produced by those responsible for “The Squid Game” and stars Lee Byung-hun (The squid game, Terminator genesis, GI Joe), Park Seo-joon (The Marvels, Parasites), Park Ji-hu (Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead) and Kim Do-yoon (zombie station).

“This dynamic ensemble of actors will bring audiences an energy they have never experienced before,” says director Tae-hwa Eom.

“My main concern was convincing viewers that this could happen in real life,” clarifies after emphasizing bringing reality to all possible areas, including the production of sets and costumes.

An earthquake destroys Seoul, except for one building. The survivors from outside take refuge there, but the original inhabitants feel threatened and elect a leader to maintain order.

“I wanted it to be realistic and convincing enough for the public to truly believe that only one building survived the earthquake.”” says director Tae-hwa Eom.

The film will have a duration of two hours and ten minutes, is marketed by BF Distribution and It will premiere this January 25 in theaters in Peru.
