Sylvester Stallone says goodbye to Carl Weathers after his death

Following the death of actor Carl Weathers, who played Apollo Creed in the well-known film franchise “Rocky“, his filming partner, Sylvester Stallonesaid goodbye with an emotional video.

Through his Instagram account, Stallone dedicated several minutes to remember the career and significance that Wearhers had in his life as an artist.

“Yesterday we lost a legend. My life changed forever for the better the day I met Carl Weathers. He rests in power and continues to strike”he wrote in the description of his publication.

On the other hand, the actor who gave life to Rocky Balboa was shocked by Carl’s death, to whom he attributed his success in the film industry.

“Carl Weathers was an intrinsic part of my life, my success, I give him all the credit because when he walked into that room and I saw him for the first time, I saw greatness., he indicated. After that, he added:I could never have achieved what we achieved with ““Rocky” without him”.

It is not the first time that Stallone says goodbye to an actor who was part of the cast of Rockythe interpreter shared another emotional farewell to Burt Young, who gave life to Paulie in the film.

Young died at the age of 83 on October 8, as reported by his daughter to Variety magazine. “You were an incredible man and artist, the world will miss you very much… Rest in peace,” the actor wrote on Instagram.

Carl Weathers dies at 76s, according to his family, the interpreter lost his life naturally while sleeping.

“Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life. With his contributions to film, television, art and sports, he has left an irreplaceable and globally recognized mark across generations. “He was a brother, father, grandfather, companion and dear friend,” said the statement his family issued.

The actor is also remembered for his participation in the Disney series “The Mandalorian”, where he played Greef Karga.
