The Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco seeks to surprise his followers this 2024 and joins the Colombian artist Catalina García, vocalist of Mounsieur Periné, for the premiere of “Tú”, the fourth preview of his long-awaited next album.

Under the production of also Colombian Julio Reyes Copello, “Tú” is a roots song, where Gian Marco – composer of the song with Copello – uses the Charango as the main instrument.

“I could say that ‘You’, beyond being a song dedicated to love, is a kind of mantra, an awakening to freedom, to being able to be yourself in any type of relationship. In ‘Tú’ we once again include colors of Andean folklore. The charango gives it a very special color. It is a song for everyone, for whoever wants to feel it, sing it and dedicate it.”Gian Marco said in a statement.

The song is accompanied by a minimalist video recorded in the city of Bogotá, Colombia with the participation of both artists. The duet arose from the great admiration that the artists have for each other.

It should be noted that “Tú” will be part of Gian Marco’s new album that will be released in the coming months and from which the hits “Aún me Still Encountering” with Rubén Blades, “Contigo hasta el final” with Mike have already been released. Bahía, and “No es amor” with Daniela Darcourt.

On the other hand, Gian Marco has just toured various Latin American countries, performing successfully in Mexico at the Pepsi Center to a full house. Now, he is getting ready to continue taking his music to different countries.
