Diego Torres premiered his new album, which contains a collaboration with Carlos Vives

The Argentine singer Diego Torres (Buenos Aires, 1971) released this Friday a new album ‘Better than yesterday’, with ten songs, among them, ‘Kapun’, with the collaboration of the Colombian Carlos Vives.

This new work includes ‘Laws of Life’, a song that delves into the deep lessons of life, bonds and family unity, “which he performs together with his nephews Ángela Torres and Benja Torres,” as explained this Friday in a note.

The title track of the album, ‘Better than yesterday’, resonates like a vibrant anthem, ‘Everything for you’ changes the mood towards a romantic serenade, while ‘Kapum’, the collaboration with Carlos Vives (1961), stands out. for its energetic fusion of styles.

The new work also includes songs like ‘Eres tú’, a tender and emotional ballad, which contrasts with the simplicity and depth of ‘Digánle’, accompanied by the guitar of Berta Rojas.

‘You know…’, with a nostalgic touch, and ‘Seems to lie’ are songs that delve into reflective territories with their lyrics. The album also includes ‘Causality’ and concludes with ‘Tú y yo’, a song that contains themes of unity and lasting love.

With more than three decades of experience in the music industry, Diego Torres, one of the most recognized Latin American artists in the world, began his career in the late 1980s, as an actor in popular Argentine soap operas. He then moved into music, and released his debut album ‘Diego Torres’ (1992), with which he achieved great success.

Since then, Torres has released ten studio albums and sold more than 20 million records worldwide. She has won numerous awards throughout her career, including two Latin Grammy Awards.
