The red carpet of the Oscars 2024 had more than one anecdotal moment, among them, the emotional reunion between two great actors and friends: Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth. The protagonists of “Avengers” joined in a strong hug that was portrayed by those attending the gala.
Chris Hemsworth arrived on the gala’s red carpet accompanied by his wife Elsa Pataky, while Robert Downey Jr. did the same with his wife Susan Downey. After being photographed, the actors met in a deep hug.
Immediately afterwards, each actor returned with their partner and continued their time at the pre-Academy Awards gala, but not before a fun moment from Robert Downey Jr., who surprised everyone with some dance steps.
As you remember, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth shared roles for several years in the different films of the remembered “Avengers” saga. Downey Jr. played the hero Ironman, while Hemsworth played Odin’s son, Thor.
It should be noted that Robert Downey Jr. is nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2024 Oscars. In the category, the actor competes with Robert De Niro, Sterling K. Brown, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ruffalo.
