Almendra Gomelsky tells everything about the “Nubeluz” farewell show, what the cones contained and more

After 8 years, the dalinas, golmodis and cindelas will return to earth, commanded by the mysterious Glufo, to fulfill their last mission: give life to “Cloudlightthe farewell”, a show that will revive the magic of one of the most famous children’s spaces in Latin America, which revolutionized television in the 90s. Las dalinas Gomelsky AlmondXiomi Xibille and Lily Braun will, once again, be the hosts of this endless party.

“We are happy to get back on stage and be in contact with the public. It will be the farewell, we will leave in memory the principles and messages of Nubeluz. It will be a blockbuster, with incredible scenery and special effects.“, highlights Almendra Gomelsky after pointing out with great satisfaction that pre-sale tickets were sold out in just 14 minutes. “The call is being incredible. It is difficult for us to believe that after so many years (33), people’s affection endures”, he highlights.

In this party on the cloud, the participation of cindelas and golmodis of the time such as MarÍa Pía and Ana Carina Copello, Cristian Rivero, Marco Zunino, Rossana Fernández-Maldonado, Daniela Sarfati, the twins Anabel and Antuanet Elías, among others, was also confirmed. .

“María Pía also wanted to accompany us for the 25th birthday, but she had a family trip. This time she will be there. The call is incredible. Claudia (Nagaro) is coming from Holland, María Pía Ureta from Miami, also Elvira (Villa)”Gomelsky shares.

Likewise, he points out that in this special installment of “Nubeluz”, Mónica Santa María will be present “through memory.”

The late Dalina was the first to enter the tuned program, and the second to be selected was Almendra. Along with her, the twins Marisol and Celine Aguirre, the sisters Bárbara and Fiorella Cayo, Drusila Zileri, among other well-known figures, appeared at the casting.

“Nubeluz came into my life without warning. I didn’t look for it. They knocked on my door three times, and the third time was the charm because I decided to go to the casting. I did it to look good with the production and with Mónica, who was my friend. We were working on commercials, taking photos, and she was the one who recommended I introduce myself”Gomelsky details.

“But I was sure they wouldn’t choose me because of my height. Whenever I took photos with Monica, they sat us down or put her on top of telephone books so that she would look taller. And in a live program those resources could not be used”, emphasizes Almendra.

Finally, it avoids revealing one of the biggest enigmas that surrounds the program: What did the “Nubeluz” cone contain?, a prize that those who participated in the contests received. “I can’t tell it because the magic is lost“, says. However, through social networks, those who have received one claim that it contained delicious and varied sweets.

In July 2020, in an interview with El Comercio, Rochi Hernández, producer of “Nubeluz”, said about the origin of the cones: “We were prohibited from mentioning brands and we thought, what should we give to the children? Someone said medals because you couldn’t give toys, and I, who was always looking into newspaper archives for children, found a German magazine where some children appeared receiving cones as surprises. So, I thought, ‘Let’s make a cone and put clouds on it instead of a ribbon.’ The cone worked very well, a magic was created around it, no one could open it on set, and it was forbidden to say what it contained, although I think we all knew.

New era?

Regarding the possibility of a new version of “Nubeluz” being produced and how feasible it is, Gomelsky has his doubts. “I think that since social networks and technology have existed, the way children communicate has changed a lot. I think that a product for minors is always necessary, but presented in a different way, shorter, like pills.”, he emphasizes.
