Luces 2023 Awards: this Monday the 25th is the last day to vote

Everything that has a beginning has an end. The Lights Awards 2023, which have received more votes than in their entire history, will close their tour this Monday, March 25. On the designated date, users of the Diario El Comercio website who have not yet voted will be able to choose their favorite nominees until midnight; When the calendar indicates that it is already Tuesday, no more votes will be allowed. The full list of winners will be published at a later date.

For the followers of the nominees, a message: we guarantee that you will be informed in a timely manner so that you can celebrate the results. Because the Luces Awards are not only due to their nominees, but to all those who invested their time and will in choosing them. To each and every one, thank you.

Developed for nineteen years, the Luces Awards recognize the most outstanding personalities of art, culture and entertainment in Peru. In the current edition, website users can vote in a total of 38 subcategories, divided into the categories of Television, Cinema, Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Fashion, Letters and Digital Content.

Awards are given to both performers, as in the case of the Best Actor and Best Film Actress categories, and creatives, where the filmmakers are. In this area, for example, seven stories compete for Best Film: “The Monroy Case” by Josué Méndez, “Amelia’s Decision” by Francisco Lombardi, “The Erection of Toribio Bardelli” by Adrián Saba, “La Pampa” by Dorian Fernández-Moris, “Pirú” by Bismarck Rojas, “Single, married, widowed, divorced” by Ani Alva Helfer and “Soltera coveted 2″, by Joanna Lombardi. On the other hand, this year the return of the Fashion category stood out, where Peruvian designers and sustainable bets compete, in addition to being awarded for the best collaboration of the year, where brand and couturier joined forces to offer unique pieces.
