Dominican singers Natti Natasha and Chris Lebron joined their voices in ‘When closing the disco’, a bachata fused with bolero and urban music, as announced this Friday.
The single, composed by Lebron, “is a 100% Dominican collaboration, from the composition and performance to the production and the video clip,” according to a statement released in Santo Domingo by the singer’s office.
The audiovisual, “with an air of film production and an elegant, classic and movie touch” is directed by Arcángel and Rodrigo Films.
The video recreates an elegant mask party in a fictitious place called ‘Rosa Rosa’, in the Dominican Republic, and includes the participation of figures from Dominican cinema such as Frank Perozo, Judith Rodríguez and the Venezuelan Bárbara Plaza, the note adds.
The information specifies that the song is part of Chris Lebron’s new album, ‘In honor of the one who loves’.
“This is a song for collection and one that lasts over time. “I am very grateful to have this great honor of being able to collaborate with Natti Natasha, to raise our flag high once again with good music,” the singer-songwriter said in the statement.
The single ‘When the disco closes’ is available on all digital platforms.
