Luces Awards 2023: Latina swept the Television category awards

The Peruvian television industry experienced a memorable night in the recent delivery of the Lights Awards 2023where Latina emerged triumphant.

Glamor and emotion came together at the Hilton hotel in Miraflores last Tuesday, April 2. The 2023 Luces Awards ceremony brought together the most select of the media, where the talent and excellence of the most prominent programs and figures of Latina Noticias were recognized.

“I have been watching others win this award for years and I must confess that I always dreamed of winning it. It was something that until a year ago even seemed quite unlikely to me. The last time I saw the list of people who had won this I thought this is only given to very famous people who are doing something very relevant. The truth is that until that moment I had not had to do either one or the other,” said José Peláez, winner of the Luces Award for Best Conducting for “The Great Chef: Celebrities.”

“Thank you for this recognition for best television actor in 2023,” said Juan Carlos Rey de Castro. “Thank you life for a wonderful year️. I admire and learn every day from my nominated colleagues and friends. I received the award this time, but energetically it belongs to everyone,” he added.
