Residente records a version of ‘313’ at the Prado Museum in Madrid

The Puerto Rican René Pérez, better known as Residente, and the Spanish Silvia Pérez Cruz recorded a version of the song ‘313’ live at the Prado Museum in Madrid, as the art gallery announced this Monday.

The video, recorded on March 15 and released this Monday by the museum on the social network a careful production with a music video bill.

‘The Adoration of the Magi’ by Rubens takes on special prominence in the images that accompany this version of the song, which was composed by Residente as a tribute to his friend Valentina Gasparini, who died in 2022.

The original version of ‘313’ had a video clip published in February that was also filmed in Spain and in which, in addition to Residente and Silvia Pérez Cruz, the Spanish actress Penélope Cruz appeared.

Considered one of the great figures of music in Spanish, with 31 Latin Grammy awards from his stages in Calle 13 and then solo, the Puerto Rican will offer concerts in Spain in September in Barcelona and Madrid.
