Jamie Lynn Spears talks about her struggles to get well in her autobiography

Britney Spears has had a tough life, but so has her little sister Jamie Lynn! The youngest of the family has confirmed the upcoming release of her autobiography, Things I Should Have Said (Things I should have said, in French) and she confided in the injuries that led her to decide to write it. How do you grow up in a famous family, and especially when you are the little sister of one of the most popular stars of her generation? Apparently, it’s very difficult …

“I felt a strong urge to share my story, but there was a lot of personal and healing work to be done before I could share my truth in the right way,” the 30-year-old wrote on Instagram, before continuing: “I’ve spent my whole life believing that I should pretend to be perfect, even when I wasn’t, so for the first time, I’m indulging in my own sanity, because this process challenged me to have to be painfully honest with myself, and to face a lot of difficult things, which I would normally have just glossed over, as I was taught to do ”.

Don’t lie to yourself

Jamie Lynn Spears has revealed that part of the proceeds from his book will be donated to This is my Brave charity, which helps those with mental health issues.

“I owe it to myself, my young self and my daughters to be an example that you should never change yourself or your truth to please someone else. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but I feel that finishing this book has brought me to close this chapter of my life which has lasted 30 years, and I hope it will help everyone who has forgotten their worth, lost their voice, or trying to break an unhealthy cycle in their life… ”she added.

In her recent statements, Britney Spears had raised many grievances against her sister. Jamie Lynn Spears responded with a message calling for “peace” within the family.
