Although none of that compares to his passion for pop tarts, a food that accompanied him almost every day during the 90s while he was recording the successful series that bears the title of his last name, and that is now part of the main plot of his first film, “Unfrosted”: the story of how Kellog’s and Post, rival cereal companies, compete to create a new pastry that will change breakfast forever.

After almost 50 years dedicated to comedy since his appearance at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club in New York City in 1976, Seinfeld still finds humor in the absurdities of everyday life, at the intersection between the anecdotal and the events ephemera that his comedy poses, something that is titled “Seinfeldian comedy.”

Before announcing the nominees, he showed a montage of film clips featuring bees, joking that they were some of his earliest work, alluding to his role as Barry in the film.

In 2009, the former members of the ’90s series would appear publicly to reunite on the series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” an appearance that would put him back on the public radar.
