Camilo announced the release of his new album “Cuatro”

The Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo released his new album this Thursday, ‘Cuatro’, in which he pays tribute to the tropical rhythms such as salsa and cumbia that marked his childhood and youth and which features hits such as ‘Una Vida Pasado’, a collaboration with Carin León , and ‘PLIS’ with Eva Luna.

“I always listened to Sonora Matancera, La Fania and La Sonora Ponceña. As I grew older I began to listen to Juan Luis Guerra and Grupo Niche, which was an immense reference throughout my life, as well as Joe Arroyo, who is a Colombian icon, among many other artists that are part of my DNA.”said the Colombian artist.

‘Cuatro’ is made up of 12 songs composed by Camilo and four of them co-written with Edgar Barrera, Mau and Ricky Montaner, Morelli and Juan David Muñoz Avilés.

At the beginning of May, Camilo released the last EP that preceded this album with the name ‘Tres’, which included a “sensual pambiche”, in the artist’s words, a ballad with “tropical fusion” and a cumbia.

Along with the release of the album, Camilo announced an international tour, ‘ Nuestro Lugar Feliz Tour ‘, which will kick off on June 8 in Europe and then move on to the United States in September.
