The Colombians Niche group This Friday they released their new single ‘The First Time’ with their compatriot Juliana Velásquez, a story of love and first encounters that will be the theme of the second season of the Netflix series with the same title.
The single, which mixes the salsa of Grupo Niche with the voice of Velásquez, was composed by the singer together with the Colombian composers Manuel Medrano and Santiago Uribe, and was accompanied by a music video that follows the visual narrative of the series ‘La Primera time’.
The second season of this audiovisual production, which will premiere on July 10, follows the story of “the mysterious girl who arrives at a men’s school in Colombia in the seventies and proceeds to break all kinds of stereotypes, rules… and a few hearts,” explained the press office of the Colombian group.

Additionally, Grupo Niche announced their debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall concert hall on April 17 of next year as part of a concert series called ‘Our Sounds,’ “a celebration of the sounds of Latin and Caribbean culture. in the U.S”.
