Shifty Shellshockthe leader of the rap-rock band Crazy Town and performer of the song “Butterfly,” has died at the age of 49 from unknown causes, “Variety” reported this Tuesday.
According to a Los Angeles County medical examiner, cited by the Los Angeles newspaper, Shellshock, whose birth name was Seth Binzer, died at his residence this Monday.
Shellshock met his Crazy Town co-founder Bret Mazur in 1992.
They both began making music under the name Brimstone Sluggers, but in 1999, they changed their name to Crazy Town and the band had added other members such as Rust Epique, James Bradley Jr. (aka JBJ), Doug Miller, Adam Goldstein (also known as DJ AM) and Antonio Lorenzo “Trouble” Valli, the specialized magazine states.
