Inclusive cinema: “Encanto” will have functions with descriptive subtitles

In order to promote the inclusion of all people and inspire positive habits and values ​​that contribute to a more inclusive, supportive and strong community, the film “Encanto” by Disney it will have functions with descriptive captions.

This initiative will take place at the Cinemark of the Jockey Plaza, Comas and Bellavista this Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 at the 2:00 pm function, where this more inclusive proposal will be offered for deaf and / or hard of hearing people.

This adaptation known as “Open Caption”, characterized by containing descriptive subtitles, includes on the big screen both the subtitles and additional interpretive information that assigns additional sounds to the reproduction of dialogues.

In this way, more people will be able to experience the magic “Encanto”, where they will meet the Madrigals, the extraordinary Colombian family that occupies the center of the scene in the most recent film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Encanto.

The new story transports the audience to the mountains of Colombia to discover a magical house, in a wonderful place known as a Encanto. There, members of the Madrigal family have been blessed since childhood with unique gifts, and very soon each of them will be revealed for audiences around the world.
